Istranova

Istranova thrives in the village of Padna (latitude 45.49, longitude 13.68, altitude 215 meters) in the Slovenian Istria region, the southeast / Mediterranean part of the Republic of Slovenia – an EU member state.

Driving instructions

Take the road Koper–Dragonja. At the road sign for Padna make a turn uphill. When you arrive to the village Padna, turn right and after 200 meters you will be at the Istranova estate.

On Istranova

Istranova is a story of partnership and friendship of its founders and the current team, born of Istria, olives, enjoyment of peace and delicious food. Olive groves have grown for years now, and olive trees which were planted first are now gradually maturing. The foundation of what are today two buildings was set in 2007, and in the spring of 2009 we opened the Istranova kitchen. In the autumn our rooms and apartments will also be ready, completing what Istranova has to offer. The stage of Istranova first came to life when Boris Pahor visited, celebrating his 95th birthday here.
